September 29th, 2014

Beginning today, September 29, we have two staff changes that have taken place here at Sir Adam Beck.  These messages are always filled with mixed emotions as we say “good-bye” and then turn around and welcome the new members to our Tribe.

We wish all the best to both Mrs. Bilen (EA) and Mrs. Harvey (Library Clerk) as they leave us and move to other exciting career opportunities.  Both of these ladies have contributed greatly to our school and they will surely be missed by students, staff and community.

The openings created by these departures have paved the way for some new members to join our SAB Tribe.  We are pleased to be able to welcome Mrs. Aplin as our new EA.  Mrs. Aplin has worked at our school as a supply EA in the past, but will now be a daily regular in our Kindergarten classes.

Unfortunately, our Library Clerk position has not yet been filled.  I expect to do interviews this week and have our new Library Clerk in place as soon as possible.  Please note that until this position has been filled the regular exchange of books will be put on hold.  Once filled, we will move quickly to return to our regular schedule of book circulation.
