Dear Community,

Our community has faced an increase in substance abuse trends.

On Wednesday March 8th at 7pm we will hear from Waterloo Regional Police about increasing our knowledge on the topic.  They will help us understand which substances they are seeing in the community.

We will also hear from a local mother who has walked this path personally.  She will be sharing some stories.

Interfaith Community Counselling will be onsite to share about the importance of shedding the stigma when talking about substance abuse, addiction and mental health.  They will also be sharing which services are offered locally and who their network of support is when support can not be offered locally.

A special thanks to James and Deb of New Hamburg Lanes for sharing their space for the evening.

This event will be held at the New Hamburg Lanes, 182 Union Street, New Hamburg on Wednesday March 8th at 7pm.
