Construction Zone Entry & Exit Procedures

Construction Fence is Up – NEW – Entry & Exit Procedures

The construction fence has gone up, marking off the area that will be needed for construction of our school addition, and requiring some changes to our morning entry and afternoon exit procedures.  Please have a look at the attached map.

Morning Bus Arrival and School Entry

Location A is our new bus drop-off location.  Arriving busses will be directed to this location where staff will assist our students from their bus and direct them onto the school yard for morning arrival.

 Location C will now be our main entrance to the school.  Staff will make sure that entry is organized and safe for all of our students entering this door.

 Location D will continue to be used exclusively for our Kindergarten students.  Kindergarten entry and exit procedures will not be impacted by any of our construction adventures.

 Afternoon School Exit

Kindergarten students will continue to be picked up at Location D or be escorted to their bus location by staff.  All other students will be exiting the building using Location B. 

 Bus loading will take place in our bus lane as usual.  This departure procedure will not change.

Please note that parents picking up their child are asked to wait on the grass in the area of the flag pole or on the concrete under the front canopy of the school.  No bus departures will be allowed until all walking students have cleared the bus lanes and it is absolutely safe for vehicles in the bus lane to move.

Together we can insure that all students and adults at Sir Adam Beck are safe.  Your patience and extra care during the construction period is greatly appreciated.
